Friday Follow #1

First, I want to thank everyone who stops by.  I'm in my first few days of book blogging and so far I am having so much fun! I've even created a twitter account for my new blog notmomsbookblog.  Anyway thank you for stopping by and leave me a link to your FF and I'll be sure to drop by and say hi!



Q: Which book genre do you avoid at all costs and why?

Honestly, I read just about anything.  Though I tend to steer clear of Poetry (I'm entirely way to dyslexic to understand what's going on) and hardcore Horror...well because I like to sleep at night.  Off the top of my head those are the only two genre's that I avoid at all costs.  How about you?

    Hi, just stopping by from the FF. I'm a new follower. I don't like to read horror books, I'm just not into getting scared all that much. I like poetry if it's well written, but I don't read much of that genre (: Have a great weekend!!

    I think poetry is okay sometimes, but I never read it outside of classes. I like some horror but only touches of horror.

    Haha, I totally agree! I hate horror because you'll probably see me screaming at everything I see. ;) And poetry is something I don't really read often but I can see where you're coming from.

    Yet another genre I didn't think about! Poetry is only good if it's short and in english. You won't find me digging into Whitman or anything, that is for sure.

    Personally I avoid historical fiction, but I don't do much poetry either.
